Students can experience educational displays like the Power of Steam exhibit, step back in time in the Cracker Country Rural History Museum, or get up close and personal with cattle, chickens and rabbits. In Florida’s Largest Classroom, every exhibit and attraction is a chance to learn more!
Ag-Venture is a learning experience designed to teach third grade students about agriculture and the importance of where our food comes from, featuring a variety of group activities and hands-on stations. In Hillsborough County, there is a large variety of agricultural learning opportunities. From bees to aquaculture to fiber, there is always something to touch, taste or see!
School tours during the Florida State Fair offer a unique opportunity for first through fifth grade students to enrich their knowledge in history, science, the arts and more – all while having fun at the fair! Self-guided school tours are available on weekdays from February 11-22, 2021. Gates open at 10:00 a.m. daily. Admission is $5 per person. One adult will be admitted free per every 10 students. The mission of Ag-Venture is to teach third grade students about the importance of agriculture. Ag-Venture takes place at the agriculture complex within the Florida State Fairgrounds. Students will participate in hands-on learning activities in five different stations representing different aspects of agriculture.
