In this section, we have assembled all the information you will need for entering the Youth Steer Show.

We encourage you to check out all the information in regards to the show. We also ask you to review the General Information.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR YOUTH LIVESTOCK EXHIBITORS:

• All students that were entered in the Florida State Fair from 2006 to 2011 must have completed the Ethics training to show an animal at the 2012 Florida State Fair.
• YOUTH EXHIBITING AT OTHER FLORIDA FAIRS SHOULD CHECK THAT SPECIFIC FAIR'S RULES FOR ETHICS QUALIFICATIONS.
• PLEASE NOTE THIS RULE RELATES TO FLORIDA STATE FAIR EXHIBITORS ONLY: Youth that are exhibiting for the first time at the 2012 Fair will have a one (1) year grace period to complete the Ethics training.
• THE LAST WORKSHOP OFFERED FOR EXHIBITORS SHOWING AT THE 2012 FLORIDA STATE FAIR WILL BE JANUARY 16, 2012 AT RIVERVIEW HIGH SCHOOL.

Please note: Even though you have attended an Ethics Workshop in the past, your certification number may have expired. Be sure to check your certification number to be sure it is still valid.

You may check your current certification number by clicking on the Ethics Lookup tab. You must have given us your name and city to be able to check for your certificiation number on the website.

Check the Ethics page for information, times, dates on the Youth Livestock Show Ethics and Animal Care Workshops that will be held around the state. Please check this site periodically for newly scheduled workshops.
